Jolly Vibe 2015

Jolly Vibe 2015, proudly presented by Jolly Stars Sports Club (UK) in association with Jaffna Hindu College OBA (UK) on Saturday 12th Dec 2015. All the proceeds from Jolly Vibe are going to the development of Jaffna Hindu College’s Sports & Athletics department under the JHCOBA UK’s PPD project. The event was held at one of Essex’s prestigious venues, The City Pavilion’s “Manhattan Suite”. The event started with an introduction from one of Jaffna Hindu’s famous cricketers, Mr N Gobiraj, who then introduced his co-presenter Mas Dion Prakash, who started off the evening with a beautiful song. The Manhattan Suite was packed with more than 320 JHC old boys, their families and friends. Jolly Vibe kicked off with an Instrumental performance by the Royal London Symphony & R G Academy’s orchestra. Whilst starters were being served, guests were treated to a stunning performance by the amazing street dance group, infamous for dancing with the X-factor’s Fleur East. JHC OBA UK’s president Mr Saba Suganthan delivered his speech, praising his dedicated young committee members for all their hard work, as well as thanking the members, their families and the main sponsors of the evening, Lyca group and RiverSure Insurance. Special mention also went to JayLux Digital Photography for their complimentary services on the night. The evening progressed with an American Auction conducted by Mr Gobi, which raised funds for a great cause. JHC’s veteran cricketer Mr Suthan Pirabaharan was the highest bidder for the beautiful gold necklace, presented to him by Mr K Rajadevan, one of the founders of Jolly Stars Sports Club (UK). After having a mouth-watering dinner from Parnaz, the ravers made their way to the dance floor and the DJ Jilsi made sure they didn’t leave until well past midnight. All left the dance floor already wondering when’s the next Jolly Vibe…? Part 1″
